Mississippi State scientists are part of an international team investigating when and where cotton was first domesticated. Their findings, recently published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, weave together a clearer picture of cotton鈥檚 genomic past while offering insight to help improve the crop鈥檚 future.

Celebrating its 45th year, Mississippi State鈥檚 Summer Scholars On Stage program will debut its newest original musical comedy 鈥淔ace the Music(Fest)鈥� later this month.
